Welcome to the website of Better Light & Sight! Dear colleagues, With consternation I inform you about the unexpected passing away of my dear friend and colleague Hidde Doornbusch At the age of 60 We will miss his enthusiasm, inspiration and optimism. Hidde passed away October 20th, 2007 from the consequences of a cerebral hemorrhage while he was in his practice. It is difficult to understand that somebody who stood in the middle of his life, with so many ideas and plans, has gone so abruptly. I am thankful that I have met him in my life. Hidde was so obsessed and passionate about so many things that we often had conversations about all things existing. I feel lucky having worked so intensely with him. It was only too short.
